Abide Ministries is a dedicated group of Christians who pray together. We are a Kingdom ministry that comes together in unity to be led by the Spirit. Abide Ministries began as an informal group of women who wanted to seek the Lord together without the overlay of corporate or denominational structure.
Dan and Jody Mayhew have been involved with Prayer Summits for over three decades. From the beginning these prayer summits were designed around dedicated Christians coming together for four days to pray and listen with no agenda beside seeking the Lord and following the leading of the Spirit. The Mayhews have been the foundation of Abide and continue to give direction.
Calvin and Julie Tadema have been in full-time healing prayer ministry since 2007 and came alongside the Mayhews to pray, teach, and train others in intercessory prayer. They continue to provide one on one prayer ministry with people all over the world, and offer leadership and training in areas of healing prayer to the School of Prayer.
Facilitators are those that have demonstrated a willingness to lead a prayer session with another person, to act as witness to the work of the Lord, and to encourage transformation through mind renewal. One of the goals of the Online School of Prayer is to raise up an army of prayer warriors who are able to confidently seek the Lord for healing for others.
